Domestic Violence Safe House Support Staff
Krystal has been with FCS since February of 2017 and has worked during that time in her role as support staff for the domestic violence safe house. Krystal started off as a part time staff and recently became full time to help support the families who stay with FCS, she provided support to families who stay with FCS by talking with them, helping to organize the house, creating safety plans and checking on the families during her shift. Krystal is also responsible for oversight of the 24 hour domestic violence hotline that operates in Carroll County where she assists those who call in with resources to get help and also can connect them to case managers as needed. Krystal has an extensive customer service experience and in a past career worked with elderly people who were experience the impact of dementia. Krystal shared that she likes that she is helping and supporting the families that she interacts with and is making a difference in their lives. Krystal enjoys supporting and keeping the families safe.
