Evie has been with FCS since June 2015; she began in a part time role with the domestic violence safe house and also took shifts for the Lethality Assessment Program, which would require her to be on call overnight. In 2016 Evie was promoted to a full time role with the safe house as a full time support staff member. Evie supports the families that stay within the safe house during nontraditional hours, making sure that they feel safe and offering support. Evie also assist with the 24 hour domestic violence hotline, taking call to give information and referrals as well as support. Evie as a high school diploma and has received training from FCS on best practices, domestic violence 101 and trauma informed care to name a few. Evie enjoys helping the clients at the safe house.
