Coordinator of the Case Management Program, Northern Region
Rebecca Williamson has been with FCS since August 2017. Rebecca has over 4 years of professional experience in the field of Family and Human Services. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Human Services with a specialization in Child Life from Towson University. She is currently the Northern Coordinator of Case Management Services. In this role, she supervises a dynamic team of Case Managers who coordinate services and provide direct case management services to individuals who live in Carroll County, Baltimore County, Harford County, and Baltimore City. The programs Rebecca works directly with are the Domestic Violence Program, Family Violence Program, and Elder Services Case Management. Prior to coming to Family and Children Services of Central Maryland, Rebecca worked for a Skilled Nursing Facility that specialized in working with individuals with mental illness. While there, Rebecca collaborated with their multidisciplinary team in order to create and implement individualized care plans for each resident. Rebecca would also work closely with the residents and their families in order to meet their individual needs. While in college, Rebecca had an internship with John’s Hopkins Hospital. During that time she worked with children who were critically ill and their families. Rebecca had the opportunity to help children and their families cope with the stress and uncertainty of an acute or chronic illness, injury, trauma, disability, loss and bereavement. These previous experiences have helped Rebecca identify that the Human Services field is what she is passionate about and the right career choice for her.
