Building Youth Resiliency Case Manager
Lauren has been with Family and Children’s Services since November of 2018. In her current role as Building Youth Resiliency Case Manager, Lauren is responsible for providing case management services to youth and their families in order to help them meet basic needs and provide rapid access to mental health services. This includes empowering the individual and their family to access the necessary services to function sustainably, to support the family or individual in maintaining a safe environment, and to live a productive life. Lauren received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Stevenson University and Master of Social Work from Edinboro University. Lauren worked for five years in the drug and alcohol counseling field providing educational, vocational, and family counseling services and contributing to overall case management of clients. Lauren recently completed a clinical internship within a laboratory for a Postmortem Brain Tissue Collection completing clinical and psychiatric interviews with families of donors. Lauren enjoys having the opportunity to meet with and touch the lives of so many different people. Lauren strives to advocate for families or individuals who may not otherwise have someone in their corner.
