April Sandi, LMSW, has been working in the field of mental health for over five years. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. April has worked in a variety of settings with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has a variety of clinical experience including residential, public school setting, non-profit, outpatient mental health, substance abuse, and extensive experience working with inner city youth and adolescents that are involved with the Department of Juvenile Services. April has in depth experience working with victims of trauma, grief and loss, and is trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Instinctual Trauma Response Therapy (ITR). April accepts clients from age 3 to adult.
