Sara Seltzer LGPC
Sara Seltzer began her career as a newspaper reporter. Her interest in people and, especially the resourcefulness and resiliency of the human spirit led her to begin her career in the field of mental health in 1999. Sara earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina- Greensboro. She earned her Master of Science in Community Counseling while working full-time as an addictions counselor. She has completed internships in working with adolescents with severe and chronic mental illness and women diagnosed with personality disorders. For the past several years, Sara has worked with the opiate-dependent population. Sara is a devoted practitioner of yoga and incorporates many of the principles of yoga into her practice. Sara is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing coach, which is a program designed to help individuals with Parkinson’s Disease to build community, delay the physical progression of the disease, and have fun.
