Sarah Quinn LCSW-C

Sarah Quinn, LCSW-C comes to FCS following over ten years of work in public child welfare. During that time, she gained valuable experience through diverse service provision to include home-based interventions, clinical assessments for children with mental health and developmental disabilities, facilitation of family involvement meetings, and acting as the mental health liaison for the Harford County Department of Social Services. She most recently supervised an out of home care unit with the Department. Sarah is a graduate of UMBC where she double majored in social work and acting. She went on to complete a Master of Social Work degree, with clinical concentration, at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Since obtaining her MSW, she has continued her training with a particular emphasis on trauma, its impact, and best practices. As Clinical Director, Sarah is especially interested in enhancement of program delivery through staff support/engagement and community partnerships as well as development and use of innovative and evidence-based practices. Sarah believes in the power of connection, kindness, and advocacy all of which rekindle her commitment to FCS’s important work each day.
