Southern Coordinator of Case Management Services
Erin Stohlman has nearly ten years of progressively responsible experience concentrating on a diversity of human services that benefit the health and wellness of families and children. Erin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Stevenson University. She also received a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from McDaniel College. Currently she serves as the Southern Coordinator for Case Management Services. In this role, she supervises a dynamic team of Case Managers who coordinate services and provide direct case management services to people who live in Howard County and Anne Arundel County. The programs Erin works directly with are the Healthy Families team, Family Stability team, Family Violence team and the Building Youth Resiliency team. Prior to coming to Family and Children Services of Central Maryland, Erin gained critical experience working for multiple organizations in the nonprofit field and in the public school system. As a Support Broker with Shared Support Maryland, INC., she worked to advocate, coordinate and provide quality, person directed supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As the Regional Services Manager for Head Start in Frederick County, where she managed their Health, Nutrition and Mental Health programs. Her duties included monitoring compliance for the Head Start program and ensuring needs of families and children with health, mental health and nutrition were addressed. Erin also worked as a School Counselor for the Carroll County Public School System where she worked with students, their families and school personnel to help students achieve social, emotional and academic success. Early in her career, Erin gained an in-depth knowledge of the behavioral health field. Erin assessed and monitored rehabilitation of individuals struggling with behavioral health issues. Erin worked as a Service Coordinator for Mosaic Community Services in Carroll County and a Rehabilitation Coordinator for Family Services Inc. in Montgomery County. These positions provided her the opportunity to help the individuals she served to receive vital mental health services necessary for their successful community integration. Erin is married and has two sons. In her spare time she enjoys the going to the beach, spending time with family and friends and exercising.
