BALTIMORE – Family and Children’s Services (FCS) will host its inaugural spring fundraiser, Family Zoo Day, Sunday, May 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. All proceeds from the event will benefit FCS’s children’s initiatives, including its Healthy Families and Family Stability programs.
Tickets for the event are $50 for adults, $25 for children under 10. There is no charge for children under two. For complete information and to purchase tickets, visit: FamilyZooDay.com.
The Family Zoo Day experience begins in the Zoo’s Mansion House with a visit from the adorable lionhead rabbit and catered brunch. Attendees are then invited to explore the zoo at their leisure for the remainder of the afternoon.
“FCS is rooted in supporting families, which makes this type of an event such a delight to put on,” CEO F.T. Burden said. “Family Zoo Day is a great opportunity for individuals to lend their support to the kids in our communities who need it the most. And best of all, they get to do that while enjoying all the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore has to offer.”
