08jul1:00 pm3:00 pmThe Adolescent Brain: Social Distancing and Internet Safety for Teens & Young Adults

Event Details

COVID-19 has greatly affected adolescents and young adults, particularly in areas such as milestone events and peer interaction.  The media has criticized this age group for its choices and opinions in the face of the pandemic, yet teens and young adults’ brains have not fully developed in a way that always allows for sound judgment and decision-making.

In this training, parents and professionals will learn more about adolescent/young adult brain development, including its implications for social distancing and risk-taking. The training will also include tips for helping teens practice Internet safety.
