Your donation supports someone else’s transformation.
When you live in Carroll County, it’s easy to think that crime and violence only happen in other places. Unfortunately, no community is immune. That’s why we need West End Place.
When you make your tax-deductible gift to FCS’ West End Place Capital Campaign, your money stays in Carroll County directly affecting the lives of the people who live around you.
Your name or the name of a loved one will be displayed permanently on our donor wall in recognition of your donation. But the impact you make on the lives of others is an even greater gift.
A New Home
We envision a newer, more comprehensive purpose for West End Place. Slated for completion in 20??, the new building will house all of FCS’s Carroll County services. Existing grants cover much of the cost, but we still need $500,000 to reach our goal.
The first floor renovation of the adult daycare and offices will allow us to serve more seniors and consolidate our counseling and case management services in one location.
The second floor of the existing building will be updated and refreshed to improve our existing senior independent living apartments.
Our seniors make new friends at West End Place.
Center Naming Rights $1,000,000+
Your organization’s name will be part of the center’s name and as a major benefactor, you will have a high profile presence on site.
There are a number of naming opportunities within the center at the following donor levels. With a donation, your name or company’s name will be permanently associated with one of the following spaces:
Wall of Wings $1,000-$2,500
Every donation at this level will be recognized with a butterfly and your name on the walls of our glass lobby area. This is a lovely way to honor or pay tribute to a loved one as well.
Community Giving Plaque $25-$1000
Every donation of this amount will be included on a beautiful collective plaque that recognizes these contributions from the community.
“West End Place is vital to the health and well-being of Carroll County, especially our senior citizens and those who need mental health and domestic violence services. We are proud to support their work.” Greg Kahlert President, The Kahlert Foundation
“West End Place provides the support that survivors of domestic violence need to recover and heal. I can’t imagine our county without it.” Steve Wantz Carroll County Commissioner
Family and Children’s Services (FCS) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization founded in 1849. We offer counseling, case management, housing, crisis and psychiatric services to vulnerable people, regardless of their ability to pay. We help thousands across Central Maryland every year-the very young, the very old, and those who struggle with mental health, abuse and homelessness. Our goal is to help each individual reach his or her highest potential by building self-confidence, resilience and hope. FCS is a 501(c)(3) organization.
