Domestic Violence Crisis Worker – Carroll County
Full-time position (37.5 hours) available for a Domestic Violence Crisis Worker who will provide crisis services to victims of domestic violence which include crisis counseling and shelter services, outreach via telephone, providing information and referrals regarding available resources, follow-up and court accompaniment to ensure victim safety and connection to needed services. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or related human service field, with a minimum of one year of experience in crisis intervention and working with victims of domestic violence and trauma. Must have own transportation.
Family Service Coordinator – Park Heights
Full-time Family Services Coordinator needed for the Family and Children’s Services Early Head Start Center. Must have experience providing home visits, direct service and /or service coordination to parents with young children. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field and 1 -2 years’ experience in direct supervision.
Home Visitor – Park Heights
Full-time Home Visitor needed for Park Heights Family Support Center. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or Human Development with experience in home visiting, counseling, working with families with young children and/or advocacy. Must have own transportation and may require evening and weekend hours.
Toddler Teacher and Teacher Assistant – Park Heights
Family and Children’s Services Early Head Start Center is hiring for the position of Teacher and part-time Teacher Assistant. Candidate MUST have either an AA or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/ Infant –Toddler or a CDA. Candidate must provide documentation of previous child-related employment and have at least 1yr classroom experience with infants and toddlers.
Therapist – Carroll County
Part-time Therapist needed to provide counseling services to sexually abused children and those traumatized by domestic violence. Applicant must have LCSW-C with at least 3 yr. exp. working with children in a therapeutic setting required. Position is 12-15 hours per week and requires a minimum of 8 evening hours.
Therapist – Howard County
Temporary to permanent licensed therapist needed for our Howard County Counseling and Child Sexual Abuse Program. Successful candidates must have LCSW-C, LCPC or LCMFT with superior clinical skills and have the ability to work with trauma victims and diverse populations. Applicant must be available several evenings from 2-8 pm.
